Keiki Heihei Waʻa – Then the Hawaiian Outrigger Canoe Regatta will begin where the keiki’s (kid’s) from the canoe clubs in Southern California and from Hawaii compete out on our six-lane regatta course with turn flags!
Shaka Woody Cars on The Bay – Do you love vintage Woody Cars? If you do then you will love the classic woody cars on display in the parking lot at our event. It’s Surf City all the way with these classic cars. The detail and craftsmanship that goes into restoring these cars is truly a labor of love. Come on down and check out these rides and talk story with the owners that restored them.
Hoʻomau Hula O Nā Keiki – The “NEW” keiki hula competition will allow keiki’s from everywhere to demonstrate their mastery of Hawaiian Hula Dancing. The founding organization that hosts the San Diego Shaka Fest is a Hawaiian cultural immersion program for youths. One of the core principles of that nonprofit is to preserve and perpetuate the Hawaiian culture. Therefore, Nā Koa Kai Canoe Club is proud to host the first annual Hoʻomau Hula O Nā Keiki as part of the San Diego Shaka Fest!
