Starting at KMYF (San Diego), in 27 stops and approximately 27,000 nautical miles, Robert will fly his 1997 Malibu Mirage on an epic flight this May (2015) around the world.
Robert’s intention with his epic journey is to:

Raise global awareness that flying between countries in a single engine piston aircraft is possible and safe with the proper preparations, planning, decision making and equipment.
Use the ‘Spirit of San Diego” to globally showcase some of the most advanced technology available in general aviation today to include a MT Propeller with 4 composite scimitar blades with nickel tips, Aviation Technologies, Altitude Alert Indicator, Electroair’s, Electronic Ignition, Lightspeed’s PFX headset , Garmin’s Flightstream 210 and Flight Shield’s nano ceramic coating.
Raise money for the Lindbergh-Schweitzer Elementary School and the AOPA (Aviation Owners & Pilots Association) Scholarship Fund.
And of course, inspire others to dream impossibly big and pursue their passions by embarking on the adventure of a lifetime.
