The San Diego Culinary Institute teaches more than just how to become a chef. According to the school, many aspiring chefs want to open their own restaurant. That requires a business plan and entrepreneurial skills. The culinary school helps to successfully position its students for the opportunity to become restaurant owners by teaching a two-week entrepreneur course in their culinary program.
